Katrina and the US As Viewed From the UK

Here's a sobering editorial from the UK's The Guardian, describing the US's superpower status as having been exposed as nothing but smoke and mirrors by the twin blows of Iraq and Katrina.

It seems that, at least in their view, the "American Century" is not going to have a repeat performance.
